Our International Relations Department Students Make Us Proud with Their Achievements in the “MUNBU 2021” Conference

The annual  Model United Nations conference was held online for the first time from January 18 through January 21, 2021 under the auspices of Bilkent University with committees representing different countries. Almost 300 high school and university students attended the Model United Nations Bilkent University (MUNBU'21) conference. A team of our International Relations Department students also joined this year’s annual conference, forming a delegation under the Diplomacy Club, and achieved significant accolades.

Among our students who participated in the MUNBU '21 conference, Dide Sezer, a freshman at the Department of International Relations, served as the UN Security Council Committee Chair as an Academic Team Member, while Armana Mela, a freshman at the Department of International Relations, was honored with the Outstanding Delegate Award in the SOCHUM Committee, where she represented Iran.  Meanwhile, Mostafa Hegab, a junior at the Department of International Relations, served as the Greek delegate in the CCPCJ Committee, while Alina Ramazan, a freshman at the Department of International Relations, acted as the US delegate in the same committee.
