Özyeğin University Won the CFA Investment Research Challenge Turkey 2022 and Qualified to Advance to the Regional Competition to be Organized Abroad

Özyeğin University won the CFA Investment Research Challenge Turkey 2022 and qualified to advance to the regional competition to be organized abroad. The CFA Investment Research Challenge Turkey is an annual competition organized by the CFA Institute, one of the world’s most renowned financial institutions, under the auspices of CFA Istanbul Society.

The OzU team made up of the Faculty of Business students Ahmet Arıcı, Mikhail Matyushenko, Ahmet Sevinçli, Buse Aslan and Emre Tuğhan Demirel prepared for the competition with the contributions of academic advisor Zümrüt Can Ambarcı and industry mentor Özgür Uçur, and successfully advanced to the next round. 

A total of 42 teams participated in the Turkish finals of the competition where the OzU team competed against teams from Istanbul Bilgi University, Bilkent University, Koç University, and Izmir University of Economics. We would like to congratulate our students and their advisors, and wish them continued success.
