Alumni Entrepreneurs Met with High School Students!

As the Center for Entrepreneurship, we brought alumni entrepreneurs together with high school students as part of the Özyeğin University Summer School for High School Students ran over 2 terms between July 2 - July 16 and July 23 - August 06 this year.

During the 1st term of Özyeğin University Summer School for High School Students, Center for Entrepreneurship hosted Kerem Çakırca, a graduate of Industrial Engineering, for a fire-side chat about his start-up called Powder Shop, which focuses on the sale of sports equipment for extreme sports. Kerem shared his journey of starting a business related to his sports career, which he continued actively throughout his university life.

During the 2nd term of Özyeğin University Summer School for High School Students, Center for Entrepreneurship hosted Kerim Yılmaz, a graduate of Industrial Engineering, for a fire-side chat about his start-up Gamer Arena which is a "Competitive Gaming Platform". Kerim shared the steps he took to start a company on competitive computer games and the invaluable experiences he gained during the process.
