Protocol Signed with Competitive Sectors Program for BEYSAD Industry 4.0 Competence Centre Project

Protocols were signed with the project-bidding institutions that had successfully completed their evaluated process at the ceremony hosted by Mr. Dr. Faruk Özlü, the Minister of Science, Industry and Technology and the Ambassador Christian Berges, Head of the EU Delegation to Turkey on January 23, 2018. Dr. Erinç Albey, our lecturer, on behalf of our University; Mr. Hasan Okyar Bayraktar and Mr. Sayat Çakır on behalf of BEYSAD and Ms. Hazal İnce on behalf of TÜSİAD put their signatures under the protocols.

Within the scope of this project, it is aimed to establish the Industry 4.0 Competence Centre, which will be serving all entrepreneurs and companies, particularly SMEs. The Centre will make considerable contribution to the issues of reducing the hardships faced during the Industry 4.0 transformation of SMEs; making Industry 4.0 transformation sustainable; improving efficiency and competitiveness during production processes in this scope and strengthening the integration of SMEs into the production value chain.

Our Centre will initially address the utilization of Industry 4.0 techniques for this important sector to survive the global competition and subsequently aim to spread all this experience gained across all real production sectors.
