Prof. Dr. Koen H. Pauwels ranked in the Top 50 marketing scholars worldwide!
We are proud to announce that Prof. Dr. Koen H. Pauwels has been recognized among the Top 50 marketing scholars worldwide in research productivity in American Marketing Association journals by DocSIG, a special interest group of the AMA.
DocSIG tracks publications according to authorship and university affiliation, and publishes Top 50 Lists on an annual basis. The current list is for the 2009-2013 research publications.
Dr. Pauwels, Professor of Marketing, is an expert on the long-term performance effects of product innovation, price changes, adding distribution channels and advertising campaigns, and resource allocation among offline and online marketing. To date, he has collaborated with several companies, incl. Heinz, Nissan, Kayak, Sony, Unilever, etc. and won numerous awards: Google/WPP Research Award, the 2001 EMAC Best Paper Award, the 2007 O’Dell Award for the most influential paper in the Journal of Marketing Research, the 2008 and 2009 Emerald Management Review's Citation of Excellence, the 2009 Varadarajan Award for Early Career Contributions to Marketing Strategy Research and others.
Dr. Pauwels teaches courses on marketing management, marketing strategy, dynamic modeling, statistics, and return on marketing investment. He is on the advisory boards of the Marketing Producitivity Group and AIMark, and serves on the editorial boards of the International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, and Marketing Science.
