Data mining, privacy preserving data mining and privacy breaches of spatio-temporal databases
Dr. Emre Kaplan received his BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabancı University. During his PhD studies, he worked as teaching and research assistant in the same department. He has more than 10 years of work experience in software industry at various companies and founded his own startup company in 2011 receiving grants from government agencies. Currently, he is working as a Department Manager – Software & Autonomous Driving Technologies at AVL Turkey. His research interests include data mining, privacy-preserving data mining and privacy breaches of spatio-temporal data.
