Fatma Damak obtained her BA degree in 2011 from the Department of Turkish Lanugauge and Literature at Boğaziçi University. She completed her MA degree in 2018 in the same department with a thesis entitled “Servet-i Fünun’dan ‘Cihani’ Edebiyata: Mehmet Rauf’un Edebiyat Eleştirisi Haritası.” She continues his PhD in the same department.

Since 2014 she teaches Turkish Literature courses at Ozyegin University. Her research interests include Modern Turkish literature, historiography of literature, literary theories, literary criticism, representations of sexuality and gender in literature, psychology and literature. She published in Toplum ve Bilim and Monograf.
