Güneş Sezen graduated from Ege University Department of Turkish Language and Literature in 2009. In 2010, she was accepted to Bilkent University as a full scholarship student and completed her M.A. in 2013. During her studies, she also worked as lecturer for introductory Turkish Language and Literature course designed for freshman. She completed her Ph.D in 2019. Her research focuses on the 19th century novels.
