İrem Karamete (IE) was the captain of the fencing team of the university for 5 years during her student life and won many Turkish Champion titles for the university. She became the first fencer to represent Turkey after 32 years by qualifying for the 2016 Rio Olympics while she graduated from the university. Benefiting from the opportunities offered by the university as well as her heavy sports life, İrem had the opportunity to do a summer internship at GAP company within FIBA Group and Amsterdam Credit Europe Bank (CEB). 

As soon as İrem graduated from Özyeğin University, she completed her master's degree in Global Marketing Management at Boston University. Completing her American adventure, İrem moved to Italy in 2019 to prepare for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and represented our country in the olympics twice. 

She is the president of the Fencing European Confederation Athlete’s Commission and she also speaks Italian at an advanced level. While she is managing intense sports life, she also works for the one of the most well known Australian online book companies, Fishpond, as an e-commerce manager of Amazon EU accounts. 

Alara Baransel (CS 2020), completed an internship at Oracle Turkey. During her internship, she honed her skills in cloud technologies, containerization, and virtualization. In the final years of her bachelor's degree, she engaged in academic research on smart load testing methods alongside Assist. Prof. Dr. İsmail Arı, resulting in the publication of her first international conference paper in 2021.

After graduating, Alara began her professional career as an Application Developer at IBM Turkey. Over the course of 2.5 years at IBM Turkey, she worked in various roles. Currently, Alara works as a Solutions Architect at AWS (Amazon Web Services) in London.

Fatmanur (CE) graduated in 2020 as a Civil Engineer. During her Özyeğin journey, she participated in many domestic and international projects. She played a role in the establishment of the Fine Arts Club. At the same time, she was on the Board of Directors of the Construction Club for a while. When she was in second year, she participated in the Earthquake Resistant Building Design Competition organized by American Earthquake Engineering Research Institute. Being the team captain in the competition made me interested in Project Management.

She became a research assistant in three different areas of her interest. Her goal is to specialize in project management. While she was at university, she voluntarily studied Construction Cases at Kartal Anatolian Courthouse because of interest in contract management. Currently she is working as Consultant at the Department of Urban Rail Systems at the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. She works on the management and control of rail systems projects in our country.
