Message from the Dean

Since the start of the 20th century, engineering and natural sciences have shaped the world. Engineering has changed the very definition of "profession". Pulling a rabbit out of a hat and transforming itself are the essence of today's engineering. Despite all that, passion and master-apprentice relationship are still at the very center of engineering professions, as they have been at the center of most professions for centuries. Özyeğin University's Faculty of Engineering is composed of faculty members that are experts in their fields and do cutting-edge research. Our faculty members are experienced and have reputations that transcend national borders. They are centers of attraction for both our students and the respective industries. Today is the day to be an expert in a field that has global significance. Today is the day to be part of teams that solve the problems of the globe. Today is the day to create disruptive technologies and approaches. These all require passion, teamwork, industry awareness, and entrepreneurial spirit. Given this perspective, Özyeğin University and its faculty members are the right start for our young women/men and a permanent/strong professional network thereon.
