Biography

Elif Demirtaş earned her B.A. in Psychology from Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University in 2020 and her M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Özyeğin University in 2024. Her master’s thesis was awarded a research grant by TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey). She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Istanbul University. Her research focuses on workplace incivility, affective dynamics at work, and employee well-being, with particular attention to how day-to-day work experiences interact with individual differences over time. Methodologically, she specializes in intensive longitudinal designs, including experience sampling and daily diary studies, and applies advanced multilevel modeling techniques, such as random coefficient models, to analyze complex nested data. She has also served as a teaching assistant in several undergraduate- and graduate-level courses, including Measurement Techniques in Psychology, Research Methods, Leadership and Motivation at Work, Advanced Topics in Work and Organizational Psychology.
