Conference on The Future of Cloud Computing and Its Place in Education at OzU

As part of the  launching  event of IBM Cloud Academy in Turkey, a conference  entitled "The Future of Cloud Computing and Its Place in Education” jointly organized by Özyeğin University and IBM was given at Özyeğin University on 30 April 2010.
 
Cloud computing is used to enable shared use of online resources, software and information from around the world. Launched by IBM and supported by a total of 17 educational institutions, IBM Cloud Academy aims to reduce the operational costs while promoting the quality of and  access to education. Academy participants have the opportunity to engage in research and educational cooperation on cloud platforms sponsored by IBM. Thus challenges of developing projects and contributing in education are overcome.
 
The conference aims to discuss the future of cloud computing in Turkey and around the world, to bring together and inform the people working on cloud computing, to create a debate atmosphere and to evaluate the potential partnership opportunities.
