Mr. Melih Demirel took his associate degree from The Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, New York and undergraduate education from Ankara Bilkent University, Department of Industrial Engineering. He had started his career pathway at Westchester Country Club, Westchester, New York as the Line Cook in 2008 and then continued at Michelin stared restaurants, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Westchester, New York and Gramercy Tavern, Manhattan, New York. He opened his own restaurant, Tabla at Istanbul, Tepebasi after he had worked as the Sous Chef and the Chef de Cuisine at various restaurants in Izmir and Istanbul. He worked as the Instructor Chef at USLA, Mecidiyekoy, Istanbul. Since January 2015, Mr. Melih Demirel, who speaks English, French and Spanish, works at İzmir Ekonomi University as the Instructor Chef.
