About Us

The 360 Advising Office endeavors to ensure that each student have access to world-class education through Özyeğin University’s
student-centered approach in order to contribute to the University’s mission to prepare students not just as “professionals”, but as individuals who are vested with the capability to make a difference.

The 360 Advising Office conducts one-on-one interviews with students, organizes information sessions, and monitors students’ progress to make sure their personal development, academic and social goals, and career plans are all in alignment with their overall life goals. The Office guides students about their academic programs and graduation requirements, and informs students about the University’ rules and regulations and directives.

The 360 Advising Office functions as part of the Student Development and Experience Unit. The Office adopts a proactive advising method to help students improve their self-efficacy, discover their areas of interests, transform their potential into career goals, and leverage university resources towards achieving their goals, starting from the moment they set foot on campus.

The 360 Advising Office also assists students in building a shared culture at Özyeğin University and being part of all processes as stakeholders.

What is 360 Advising Unit & What Does It Serve for International Students?

As 360 Advising Unit, we aim to support and advise students academically, socially and personally. We provide sessions in English for International students as well. You can book and appointment form our unit to ask your questions or discuss your academic issues. Below explains our aims and contact information.

Academic support is one of the aims of 360 Advising for achieving better in any academic issue. The unit provides;

• Information regarding learning and studying strategies,
• Information regarding department change, minor & major degree requirements,
• Information for how to contact the Faculty Academic Advisor,
• Information about the content of SEC 101 360 Advising Meeting,
• Information about the steps of studying and applying it to a daily plan.

Social support is another aim of 360 Advising for helping you to create a balanced social life. We provide;

• Information about the units and resources of the university for enhancing social network,
• Information about social activities and the responsible units that students can take part.
• We discuss important factors for a balanced social and academic life;
• adaptation to the university life,
• creating social network in the campus,
• integrating social skills into academic skills.
• If the issue is out of 360 Advising’s scope, we direct you to the regarding unit.

Personal support is also another aim of 360 Advising. We provide;

• Support for enhancing time management skills,
• planning, keeping a planner,
• getting to know responsibilities,
• Support for creating short & long term goals and targeting them,
• Support to cooperate with other units for providing a more comprehensive personal support
