Student Representation

At ÖzU, there is a strong emphasis on periodically inviting students to department and/or faculty boards across all faculties. Students in faculties are actively involved in department boards, and there is student representation in every meeting of the Campus Services Advisory Board and the Occupational Health and Safety Board.

Additionally, the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Office organizes informative meetings with various student groups across the university. In the 2021-22 academic year, one such informative meeting was held. The content of these meetings can be summarized as follows: Information sessions on AABI (Aviation Accreditation Board International) accreditation for students in the Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences, information sessions on AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation for students in the Faculty and Institute of Business, and general consultation discussions with Student Senate representatives regarding YÖKAK and quality processes.
