Important Information About Check-In to Dorms

Dear Student,

Please be advised that you may check into your room starting from 9 am, Friday, Fridays September 22, 2017. Below you will find a set of instructions which, we hope, will make your move-in process easier and more convenient for you. Please complete the following steps before you check into your rooms:

  1. Bring all your medical reports with you. (Hepatitis B and C markers, HBsAg, Anti HCV, and HIV test, PA Chest Radiograph and medical report).  We would like to kindly remind you that students who fail submit the required medical reports will not be allowed to move into their rooms. Please note that medical reports issued in previous years are not acceptable. Therefore, we kindly ask you to bring a newly issued medical report in order to be eligible to move into your rooms.
  2. Check-in procedures will be completed from 08:00 to 20:00 in the respective dorm in which you will reside. After the said times, check-in procedures will be completed in Accommodation Services Management Offices in Dorm 3,  Dorm 4, and Dorm 6 from 20:00 to 8:00. Please visit Accommodation Services Management in Dorm 3 if your room is in Dorm 1, 2 or 3. Please visit Accommodation Services Management in Dorm 4 if you room is in Dorm 4. Please visit Accommodation Services Management in Dorm 6, if your room is in Dorm 6. You may follow the posted signs to access the check-in area.
  3. Submit your medical reports to  Accommodation Services Management staff, specifying your name, surname and student number.
  4. Once you are registered in the system, sign the “Room Condition Inventory and Check-In Form” and the “Dormitory Check-In Agreement”.
  5. Check your room contents. Compare them with the items listed on your room condition inventory and check-in form.
  6. Report any damages you notice other than those already noted on the room condition inventory (RCI) at yurt@ozyegin.edu.tr. Have these damages checked and the RCI updated by Accommodation Services Management on the same day. Please note that if you fail to notify Accommodation Services Management of any additional damage that is not listed on the RCI, you will be considered to have accepted the RCI as is.
  7. To request a blanket, please sign the “Item Request Form” and obtain your blanket from the stands in Dorm 2 (in Lounge, on Floor -1) or Dorm 4/6 (ground floor).

NOTE:   Room change requests will be accepted starting from October 23, 2017. Requests will be proceeded based on the availability of the requested room type and the check-in date.   Where two students mutually agreed to change their rooms between themselves, both students must visit the Accommodation Services Management Office to complete and sign the required forms, starting from September 22, 2017.
