Our Students Return with Awards from IMMIB Industrial Design Competition

Our senior Industrial Design students Kumsal Kurt and Melis Çalıvık returned home with awards from the IMMIB (Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association) Industrial Design Competition organized jointly by the Ministry of Commerce,  Turkey Exporters Assembly, and the Industrial Designers Society of Turkey (ETMK).

The competition was organized to foster the development of high value-added products, promote and encourage industrial design events, and increase export competitiveness. During the challenge, our students Kumsal Kurt and Melis Çalkıvık were honored with third prize and “honorable mention” award, respectively, in recognition of the disinfectant they designed for the competition.

This year marked the 16thedition of the IMMIB Industrial Design Competition, which was held with the theme of “Innovative Products Against the Covid-19 Pandemic”.
