Announcement of the Use of Indoor Areas of the Athletic Center

Dear Students,

 

20 Dec 2021 as of the date, the indoor areas of the Sports Center will be opened gradually with the reservation system in accordance with the current Pandemic measures. The following are the principles regarding the use of the Facilities that will be put into service.

 

  1. General Considerations;
  2. The facilities will be open to OZU Family.
  3. There are two vaccination requirements for users.
  4. Facilities to be opened for use are a Fitness Room, Swimming Pool, Studios, Table Tennis Area,Indoor Sports Hall,Billiard Area.
  5. Reservations will be made within one hour via my OZU reservation system. You have to be located at the Athletic Center 10 minutes before the booking time.
  6. Fever will be measured at the entrance of the Athletic Center.
  7. Opening Hours on Weekdays; Fitness and Studios; 09:00 - 22:00, Swimming Pool and Table Tennis; 09:30 - 21:30, Indoor Sports Hall 09:00 - 21:30 ,Pool Tables 09:00-21:30

Opening Hours on Holidays; Fitness and Studios; 10:00 - 18:00, Swimming Pool and Table Tennis; 10:30 - 17:30, Indoor Sports Hall 10:00 - 17:30, Pool Tables 10:00 -17:30

  1. The Working Areas will be closed for decommissioning between 13:00 - 14:00 and 17:00 - 18:00 for detailed cleaning reasons.
  2. Pandemic rules will be observed within the Sports Center,

masks will be worn outside of active sports.

  1. Personal materials will be used during sports
  2. Changing Rooms; At the entrance and exit for your preparation time will be 10 min. and it must be observed.
  3. Students who come to swim, will use the changing room which is located on the pool deck

Use of the Fitness Center

  1. The number of users with a reservation will be at most 20 person.
  2. With the aim of keeping breath release at a minimum on rowing and treadmills, care is taken to work at a low pace.
  3. Users should not leave sweat on the tools during operation, they should bring/use personal towels.

 

Use of Studio Spaces;

  1. The maximum number of users of each studio is set at 2 person per hour.
  2. Personal towels should be used during the study, sweat on the mats it should not be left.
  3. Studio doors should not be closed during operation, they should be kept open.

 

Use of the Table Tennis Area;

  1. Three tables will serve. Two students will be booked at each table per hour.
  2. Students who prefer to play together, on the same numbered table they should be booked  separately.
  3. Students will be able to provide racquet and ball needs from the Athletic Center.

 

Swimming Pool Usage;

  1. The number of users with a reservation is such that there are three people in each lane the total is set at 15 per hour.
  2. Students who are going to swim in the same lane, should not stand next to each other.

 

Use of the Indoor Sports Hall;

  1. For basketball, the number of users with a reservation is such that there are 4 people in each hoop the maximum number of people in two hoops is set at 8 people.
  2. For volleyball, the number of users with a reservation the maximum number is set at 6 people.

Use of a Billiard Area;

  1. Two tables will serve. 2 students can book at each table
  2. Students who want to play together, on the same numbered table

he should have made a separate, separate reservation

     3.Cue and ball needs will be available from the Sports Center
