Faculty of Law Awarded at 2018 INADR Istanbul Mediation Tournament

In the “2018 INADR Istanbul Mediation Tournament” organized by the International Academy of Dispute Resolution between February 13-16, 2018; our university was represented by Mr. Ferhat Yıldırım, our Lecturer at Faculty of Law, as the team coach and our students Beste Turan, Kıvanç Turan and Esin Meriç Kutlay.

10 law faculties from various countries of the world took part in the tournament. As a first-time participant in such a tournament, Özyeğin University managed to advance to the finals out of the 10 teams and came in 4th in the Team Awards Category.

In the “best mediator” contest under the individual category, our student Ms. Beste Turan was given the “Best Mediator” award and brought the first prize to our faculty.

 Moreover, in the individual category, our student Mr. Kıvanç Turan advanced to the top ten out of 30 individual contestants and got the eighth prize in the best mediator category.
