Assistant Professor Suzan Tireki Attended the 4th Agriculture and Forestry Council Final Declaration Sharing Meeting

Assistant Professor Suzan Tireki from the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Program at Özyeğin University served as a member of the “Food Security, Safety and Addressing Food Waste Commission” at the 4th Agriculture and Forestry Council, organized by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Ankara between April 28 and 30, 2025. Along with 1596 other participants, Assistant Prof. Tireki took part in the determination of 371 targets and 2678 strategies and participated as a commission member in the public announcement meeting of the IV. Agriculture and Forestry Council Final Declaration. The meeting took place at the Beştepe Congress and Culture Center on May 14, 2025, which is World Farmers' Day. Agriculture and Forestry Councils, which serve as comprehensive reports outlining strategies for the future of Turkey's agricultural sector, addressing priority issues, and defining goals and actions, are organized every five years in our country. During the aforementioned meeting, the council's final declaration, encompassing 86 decisions, was shared with the public.
