Özyeğin University and TURYİD Sign a Memorandum of Understanding for Management Trainee Internship

Özyeğin University and the Tourism Restaurant Investors and Gastronomy Businesses Association (TURYID) has signed a new and special memorandum of understanding. The signing ceremony took place on the Özyeğin University Çekmeköy Campus with the attendance of Prof Dr. Esra Gençtürk, Özyeğin University Rector,  Mr. Kaya Demirer, Chairman of the Board of Directors at TURYID, Mr. M. Teoman Alemdar, Director of the School of Applied Sciences at Özyeğin University, and Mr. Ahmet Özbek, Member of the Executive Board and Head of Gastronomy Training Committee at TURYID. 

The cooperation will vest the students of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at the School of Applied Sciences with opportunities to complete their Advanced Internships as management trainees at 187 brands and over 1,000 businesses affiliated with TURYID. In addition to accumulating practical experience in the fields in which they wish to climb the career ladders, students will also have the opportunity to have a taste of other fields of expertise where they will shadow management to closely observe and study the roles and responsibilities of senior managers.
