National Geographic Explorer, Thomas Culhane, is at OzU

The first of the seminar series “Bosch Nat Geo Environmental Seminars” will be held at OzU under the auspices of Özyeğin University Center for Energy, Environment and Economy (CEEE). Launched last year, “Bosch Nat Geo Environmental Seminars” will be held at 6 universities in Istanbul this year with the participation of Thomas Culhane, National Geographic explorer.

During the seminar, Thomas Culhane, National Geographic explorer with an expertise in green technologies and solar energy, will talk about how to reduce environmental pollution and how to save in our cities and share his own experiences.  The seminar will be held with theme of “Environmentally Friendly Approach and Sustainability" and will provide valuable information and practical examples on recycling and environment.All Ozyegin members are invited.

*The seminar will be in English and simultaneous translation will be available.

Lucky Students will Discover the Amazon!

Following the first “Nature Adventure” competition held last year, offering a trip to the Galapagos Islands as the top prize,  this year lucky students will go on a fantastic adventure in the Amazon with a competition to be run on the official Facebook page.
