Mert Zafer Kara obtained Bachelor's degrees in Architecture and Interior Design from Istanbul Technical University in 2019. He spent a semester of his undergraduate education at Università IUAV di Venezia. During 2019-2021, he worked as an exhibition designer in various museum and gallery exhibitions. He continues his education at Istanbul Technical University in the Architectural Design Master's program. Since 2021, he has been working as a Research Assistant. His research interests focus on representation, memory, archive, and imagination in architectural design.
