Double Major Program

Excluding students enrolled in the schools at Özyeğin University, students who pass the TRACE examination may apply for the Double Major Program in the undergraduate programs of the Faculty of Business, provided that they meet the requirements specified in the Double Major Directives of Özyeğin University. Students whose double major applications are accepted must fulfill the following requirements. 

  • Double major students must complete all the required and program elective courses of their secondary majors in addition to all the courses and graduation requirements of their primary majors. 
  • Double majors must complete a minimum of 240+66 (306 ETCS) credits in total in order to be eligible for graduation. 
  • Students who fail to reach a total of 306 (ECTS) credits despite the fact that they have completed all of the graduation requirements of their primary majors as well as all of the required and program elective courses of their secondary majors must take faculty electives to complete the missing credits. 
  • Faculty of Business students who pursue double major in another program offered by the Faculty of Business must take the Internship/Certificate and SEC-401 Sectoral Practicum courses from their primary programs.  Students whose primary major is Banking and Finance (BAF) must complete the SEC-401 Sectoral Practicum course in their secondary majors.  

Minor Program

Students who pass the TRACE examination may apply for the Minor Program in the undergraduate programs of the Faculty of Business, provided that they meet the requirements specified in the Minor Directives of Özyeğin University. Students whose minor program applications are accepted must fulfill the following requirements. 

  • Minor program students from the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Architecture, and Department of Psychology must complete  BUS 101 Introduction to Business I (Decision Making) in addition to the required courses. 
  • In addition to all the courses and graduation requirements of their primary majors, minor program students must also complete the below courses offered by their minor programs. 
  • Minor program students must complete a minimum of 240+30 (270 ECTS) credits in total in order to be eligible for graduation. 
  • Students who fail to reach a total of 270 (ECTS) credits despite the fact that they have completed all of the graduation requirements of their primary majors as well as courses of their minor programs must take faculty electives in order to complete the missing credits.
