Project Description: Over the past decades, research in optical metamaterials and metasurfaces has led to groundbreaking advancements in the manipulation of light at the nanoscale. These materials have revolutionized various fields, including imaging, beam shaping, holography, and sensing, by offering unprecedented control over light properties while maintaining compact designs. The field is now entering an exciting phase, marked by the integration of metasurfaces into computational imaging, augmented reality, quantum optics, and other cutting-edge applications. These innovations are driving demand for skilled researchers who can design and simulate complex optical systems. This internship program aims to train students in the design and simulation of metasurfaces using electromagnetic modeling tools.
Project Tasks: simulation tasks
Requirements:
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, or Physics.
- Students who have completed their third year of study.
- GPA > 3.00
