Application Deadline has been updated to May 19th!

The COVID-19 call is designed to provide Özyeğin University faculty, students, and alumni with financial support, mentorship, and strategic consultancy to help them bring to life their innovative projects with the potential to make an impact, responding to an actual need, and  focused on scalable technology or social innovation.

The COVID-19 Fast Track Funding Call is intended to facilitate the fast-track and effective implementation of selected project proposals offered as solutions towards the COVID-19 pandemic and its ramifications, which affects all aspects of our daily lives. To this end, the call offers a 35,000TL of financial support under the Fit Startup Factory Support Program, as well as mentorship and strategic consultancy by the Fit Startup Factory Incubation Center, and prototyping support by the OpenFab Workshop. Among the developed business ideas, high-tech solutions will be referred to the TÜBİTAK BIGG - Techno-Entrepreneurship Program after the call. When submitting project proposals, applicants must select one of the following themes:

 

COVID-19 Fast Track Funding Call Themes

 

* Health:  Covers solutions pertaining to the healthcare dimension of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic (i.e. healthcare professionals, hospitals, medical equipment, patients etc.).

Businesses: Covers solutions pertaining to the effective maintenance of business operations affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

*Society and Life: Covers solutions pertaining to individuals’ daily lives and their interactions with each other and the society in which they live during the fight against the COVID-19.

Remote Working and Distance Education: Covers solutions pertaining to new ways of doing business, new lines of business, and training for every person or institution at every age during the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Other:  Covers all other solutions which do not fall within the scope of the categories above but pertain to the minimization of the COVID’s effects.
