2020 - 2021 Fall Semester Course Registrations

Dear Students,

You may complete your 2020-2021 Fall semester course registrations from September 30, 2020 through October 2, 2020 as per the schedule below.  For courses offered, weekly schedule, and syllabi, please visit Courses Offered page. We kindly remind you that you need to contact your academic unit for your requests about courses.

The Course Registration Information Document is intended to inform you about the course registration process, the rules for the course registration system, and important reminders about specific courses. The document also provides you with the contact details of the persons you need to contact for your inquiries or any problem you may face during course registration. We urge you to review this document carefully and make your academic plans in line with your curricula and the rules in place.

We strongly recommend that you check your academic programs’ curricula, and your degree audit reports (SIS -> Academic Information -> Degree Audit Run) before completing your course registration. We also advise you to consult your advisor, when necessary.  You have been assigned different advisors to help you with the following issues during your course registration. You may view your academic advisor details via the My Profile -> Advisor Information tabs in the Student Information System (SIS).  

Course registrations will be take place as per the following schedule. Please check your year before the start of course registration via the Student Information System (SIS) in order to determine in which time period you may complete your course registrations.

The maximum course loads are specified below according to the academic standing of students. Students may not exceed the given maximum course loads.

• 30 ECTS credits in the first semester for freshman students beginning the first semester of their undergraduate programs during the Fall semester.
• 30 ECTS credits for students with a cumulative GPA less than or equal to 1.99 out of 4.00.
• 36 ECTS credits for students with a cumulative GPA between 2.00 and 2.99 out of 4.00.
• 42 ECTS credits for students with a cumulative GPA between 3.00 and 4.00 out of 4.00.
• 42 ECTS credits for students who have completed at least 198 ECTS credits with a cumulative GPA of at least 1.60 out of 4.00.
• 42 ECTS credits in the Spring semester for students who have completed at least 180 ECTS credits by the end of the Fall semester with a cumulative GPA of at least 1.60 out of 4.00.
• 42 ECTS credits for double major students, regardless of their cumulative grade point average.
