MT Program with OzU-Vestel Cooperation Celebrated Its First Graduates

Hüsnü Özyeğin, Founder of Özyeğin University and Chair of Özyeğin University’s Board of Trustees, and Ahmet Zorlu, Chairman of Board of Directors of Zorlu Holding, met at a panel to be held at Vestel on 25 June 2010, Friday. Prior to the panel, the first graduates of the Management Trainee Program launched by Vestel in cooperation with Özyeğin University obtained their diplomas.
 
During the panel held at Vestel City, the production center of Vestel in Manisa, Rector Erhan Erkut served as the moderator. Topics of discussion included Hüsnü Özyeğin and Ahmet Zorlu’s international achievements in entrepreneurship, the similarities in their career paths, and the importance they attach to the corporate entrepreneurship culture and corporate governance.

Prior to the panel, the first graduates of the MT Program launched by Vestel in February in cooperation with Özyeğin University received their diplomas from Ahmet Zorlu and Hüsnü Özyeğin.

MT Program in Cooperation with Ozyegin University

The Management Trainee Program of Vestel Group delivered by Özyeğin University’s Graduate School of Business for the Group’s newly recruited 26 employees with no previous professional experience started in February. Delivered by an international faculty of 25 including Özyeğin University’s faculty members and practitioners, one of the most important features of the program that differs it from all others in Turkey is that those who successfully complete the program will be able to receive an MBA by attending the summer modules of Özyeğin University’s MBA program and completing their missing classes.
