Dr. Başak Ozan Özparlak completed her undergraduate degree at Marmara University Faculty of Law, her master's degree in EU Law at Marmara University European Union Institute, and her PhD degree at Marmara University Faculty of Law. Since 2016, at the intersection of both industry and academia; she has given national and international level trainings, consultancy and research in the intersection of artificial intelligence systems, human-robot interaction, new generation wireless technologies (5G/6G) and law. Since 2020, she has taught “Cyber Security, Blockchain and Law” and “Artificial Intelligence and Law” courses on part-time basis at Özyeğin University. She started to carry out her academic activities, which she carried out simultaneously with her profession until 2023, as a full-time faculty member at Özyeğin University Faculty of Law.
