Cem Ersöz obtained his B.Sc. degree from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Physics Engineering in 2006 and M.Sc degree in Air Transport Planning and Management from the University of Westminster in 2014. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Yıldız Technical University Statistics department.
During his undergraduate years he worked as a student assistant at Istanbul Technical University's physics labs and after graduation, he worked as a lab assistant at Isik University's physics labs for 2 years.
After completing his military service as a reserve officer in 2009, Cem Ersöz worked as an Aircraft Loadmaster for MNG Airlines for 3 years. He also took part in short-term logistics and marketing projects for various companies.
Having studied the impact of economic recessions on airlines in his master's thesis, Cem Ersöz continues his research on forecasting and optimization in aviation industry.
