He received his undergraduate graduation certificate from Istanbul University in 1995. He started his academic career as a research assistant at Kocaeli University in 1996. He received degree PhD program of Ankara University Institute of Social Sciences in 2005. He returned to Kocaeli University after completing his PhD. He received the title of associate professor in 2013. He started to work Marmara University in 2014 and he is currently working at this university.
