Beach Volleyball and Handball Court

Instructions For The Özyeğin University Beach Volleyball and Handball Sand Court

1. The sand court is for beach volleyball and handball purposes only. Using the sand court for any other purposes is strictly prohibited.
2. The sand court is open from 09:00 to 21:30 on the weekdays, and from 09:00 to 17:30 on the weekends.
3. The sand court may be used by reservation only. Reservations must be made via MyOzU.
4. Each volleyball or handball team must have at most 4 persons. (To protect the sand)
5. Appropriate sports attire (shorts-t-shirt) is required on the sand court. Beachwear (swimwear or shirtless) is not allowed on the sand court.
6. Beach volleyball is played barefoot. Footwear is not allowed on the sand court
7. Food, drinks, smoking, or any flammable or sharp objects are not allowed.
8. Engaging in behaviors which may pose a threat to the safety of others is strictly prohibited.
9. The sand court is made up of special washed sand. Therefore, careful attention must be paid to keep the sand court clean and well-maintained.
10. After each game, players must rake the sand with sand rakes, and leave the court clean.
