The Undergraduate Hotel Management, and Undergraduate Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Program of the School of Applied Sciences aspire to crown its academic education not only with its preeminent faculty but also with its sectoral collaborations. Thus, the School seeks for collaboration with hospitality institutions and organizations renowned for their efforts, as itself, to increase the service quality in tourism.
Therefore, the Özyeğin University School of Applied Sciences and the Marmara Collection Group signed a memorandum of understanding on June 6, 2012, entailing preferential treatment to students of OzU in selecting students for internships, priority in screening and selecting to all deserving graduates of OzU's HMAN and GARM programs for open positions at The Marmara Hotels, recruitment of eligible graduates as Management Trainee in exchange of certificate trainings offered by OzU to The Marmara Collection Group employees, inviting experienced and professional senior managers of the Marmara Collection Group to give lectures as guest speakers or to analyze business cases with students, as well as development of joint R&D projects to meet the needs of the hospitality industry.
Our aim is to raise the service quality of the tourism industry in Turkey to the world standards by promoting the development of both our sector and our youth as the future of our sector.
