Our Two Students Admitted to the Girvak Fellow Program as “Fellow” and “Challenger”

Ahmet Furkan Yılmaz, junior Architecture student at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Özyeğin University, and Yunus Emre Ozan, sophomore Electrical-Electronics Engineering student at the Faculty of Engineering at Özyeğin University, have been admitted to the Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation’s Girvak Fellow Program as “Fellow” and “Challenger”, respectively. The 6-month program is run in five steps by the Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation, which is recognized as one of the largest and most dynamic entrepreneurship ecosystems in Turkey. Our students qualified to be among 193 finalists out of 138,612 applicants of the program. The Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation started out with the mission of creating and promoting the culture of entrepreneurship in Turkey. Since its founding in 2014, the Foundation has been working in cooperation with business people and opinion leaders who recognize the importance of entrepreneurship and who believe that entrepreneurship is the key for change in order to promote the culture of entrepreneurship, and turn it into a career choice among young people. To date, a total of 8 Özyeğin University students have graduated from the program that now admitted two more OzU students.
