Regulations in the Academic Program Due to Adverse Weather Conditions

Dear Özü Members,

In line with the decision taken by the Governorship of Istanbul due to the expected heavy snowfall, the following decisions have been taken for Thursday and Friday, March 10-11, 2022, in line with the evaluations made by the Academic Board of our University and the approval of the Rectorate:

1. The courses whose instruction method has been announced as the 1st Group (only face-to-face courses) will be suspended and make-up courses will be announced later by the instructors teaching the courses.
   
   
2. The courses whose instruction method has been announced as the 2nd Group (face-to-face and online courses) will continue as online in principle, and if the courses cannot be taught due to their nature, make-up courses will be announced by the instructors teaching the courses.
   
   
3. The courses whose instruction method has been announced as the 3rd Group (only online courses) will continue to be taught online without any changes.
   
   
4. The face-to-face exams planned on these dates have been postponed, and the new dates of the exams will be announced by the lecturers of the courses. Online exams, on the other hand, will be held online without any changes.
   
   
5. All courses in the English preparatory program will be taught online.
   
   
6. Our academic and administrative staff, apart from the units that serve our students staying in the dormitories and those who are required to come to the campus, will work remotely during these dates.

As of Monday, March 14, 2022, the academic program will continue as previously planned.
