TÜBA GEBİP and TESEP Award Programs

Dear Researchers, 

The Young Scientists Award Programme (GEBİP) aims to support young (under 40 years of age and for women scientists who gave birth, one year for each birth is added to the age limit) and outstanding scientists who are at the stage of establishing their own research teams in Turkey after completing their post-doctoral research activities. 

GEBİP Award recipients are supported for a period of three years with 20.000 TL per year. Moreover, in these three years recipients are given 6.000 TL per year to be for his/her PhD students’ thesis activities and 4.500 TL per year for national and international conferences attendances. The scientists are able to get additional support for national and international meeting and conference attendances that take plane in the five years following the 3-year award period. This support includes Turkish Liras equivalent of $1500 for activities in Europe and Turkish Liras equivalent of $2000 for activities in non-European countries.

Scientific Copyright Works Award Program (TESEP) has been put into practice to encourage the publication of qualified Turkish copyrighted works oriented to the universities. The program named as Scientific Copyrighted and Translated Works Award (TEÇEP) has been changed to TESEP which will be awarded only copyright works since this year. 

Within the scope of TESEP; 20.000 TL are granted for copyright works and 7.000 TL are granted for the Remarkable Work Award (Honorable Mention).
