The Undergraduate Hotel Management Program, launched on May 21, 2009, holds the distinction of being Turkey's first and only academic program of its kind.

In September 2012, the Faculty of Applied Sciences introduced its second undergraduate program, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, in collaboration with Le Cordon Bleu International. This partnership brought together Özyeğin University's outstanding education in restaurant management with Le Cordon Bleu International’s profound experience and deep-rooted education in the field of culinary arts, creating an unparalleled synergy.

With its innovative vision, unwavering passion, relentless pursuit of progress, and staunch  commitment to professionalism, the Faculty of Applied Sciences has rightfully secured its place as a trailblazer among national, regional, and global institutions. Our Faculty endeavors to enrich and extend its offerings through the introduction of new undergraduate and graduate programs.

The fields of hotel management, and gastronomy and culinary arts, which are among ever-evolving sectors in Turkey and worldwide, continue to be the prime choices among young individuals at university age. This preference arises primarily due to the consistent demand for well-educated and experienced professionals in these areas, a trend that is expected to persist globally for the foreseeable future.

The mission of the Faculty of Applied Sciences is to cultivate accomplished and internationally recognized hotel management and/or culinary arts professionals. Our graduates will be well-poised to start their own businesses or advance their careers to top-level management positions in international hotel and/or restaurant chains upon their graduation.  In pursuit of this mission, our Faculty is committed to preparing the next generation of trailblazers in gastronomy and hotel management. We aspire to educate individuals who possess an entrepreneurial spirit, a flair for creativity, and the sheer ability to generate value right from the start of their professional journey. These future leaders will be marked by their unwavering focus on problem-solving, and vested with comprehensive sectoral expertise and honed skills, having successfully completed their academic studies.
