Gözde TÜRKELİ graduated from Çapa Anatolian Teacher Training High School in 2009 and received her LL.B. degree from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law in 2014. Upon graduation, she began her master studies in Public Law at Istanbul University Institute of Social Science and concurrently completed her law internship at Istanbul Bar Association. After obtaining her attorney’s license in December 2015, she worked as a lawyer for a period of time. In 2017, she conducted a library research for 3 months at Università degli Studi di Milano under Erasmus exchange programme and completed her thesis titled “Unlawful Assembly and Demonstration Crime”. She is currently pursuing a PhD degree in public law at Marmara University.
She joined Ozyegin University Faculty of Law as a research assistant at Department of Philosophy and Sociology of Law in 2018. Her other interests are criminal law and the doctrine of human rights.
