Computer (PC) Laboratory

MAC Laboratory

The laboratory serves with 20 IMac computers and related software for graphic design, game design, animation, video making subjects and the courses on these subjects.

Visual Reality Laboratory

This laboratory contributes to the fields of Virtual and Augmented reality by designing Virtual reality applications, training the next generation of researchers, and promoting strong collaboration with industry.

Media Laboratory

In this laboratory, studies on image and sound production are carried out. The main research areas of the work team are film, video, photography, motion visual design and animation. The laboratory also provides the appropriate environment and equipment for student studies and courses in these fields.

Game Research Laboratory

Games Research Lab is a production and research laboratory. The lab focuses on exploring the intersections of game design, narrative, and culture in the media landscape of new technologies, game genres, and interaction methods. Its main goal is to enable students to use game-making strategies when discussing games, hosting workshops and talks, collaborating on game-focused projects, and organizing community-related events, contributing to the definition of game design as cultural knowledge production.

Ceramic and Modelling Workshop

Digital Model and Model Workshop 

Digital Model Workshop give opportunity to make models by students for their individual or team studies related with their different courses. Digital Model workshop has a 3 D printer, a laser cutter, an electronics workshop also open to use for the students.Model workshop a 3 D CNC Router, a vacuum forming machine, a circular saw, a vertical saw, a jigsaw, a hotwire saw, a column drill, and a lathe. A painting room is also open to use for the students.

Design-Build Workshop

Design-Build Workshop give opportunity to make real size building components and furniture mock-uos and prototypes by students for their individual or team studies related with their different courses. Design-Build Workshop has two laser cutters, Design-Build Workshop work together with Model Workshop.

The Building Materials and Physics Laboratory

The Building Materials and Physics Laboratory of the Faculty of Architecture and Design of Özyeğin University is aimed to carry out the research studies in the field of “Building Science”. It is also intended to constitute a platform which is either giving related lectures at the undergraduate and graduate levels or providing consultancy to the private and public sector.ır.
