About

The Office of Intercultural Awareness and Support (OIAS) works to improve international student and scholar experience at OzU through cultural programming, comprehensive pre-arrival and post-arrival support, immigration advising and community awareness trainings. Intercultural awareness and experience are inextricably important for university experience as countless groups and individuals come together to share the same space and learn together with all their unique ways of being. OzU community, with its academic and administrative operations, embraces this diversity and we work together to educate our community on matters pertaining to cultural differences, respect and harmony. OIAS works closely with International Admissions, Student Development, Office of Learning and Teaching Enhancement, Housing Department and other units and reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Our office is open during business hours (8:00am - 4:45pm local time) on weekdays.

We are located at the ground floor of the Athletic Center next to the health center and can be reached at intercultural@ozyegin.edu.tr .
