OzU Resources for Families

Özyeğin University offers several services and resources to support the families of its faculty members:

1. Couple and Family Center (ÖzÜÇAM)

Located on the Çekmeköy campus, ÖzÜÇAM provides psychological services to individuals, couples, and families, regardless of their affiliation with the university. Services include individual, couple, and family therapy, play therapy, group therapy, psychoeducation, and psychological assessments. These services are offered by graduate students specializing in Couple and Family Therapy under faculty supervision. ÖzÜÇAM aims to make therapy accessible, particularly for individuals from low and middle economic backgrounds. 

2. Health Center Services

The university's Health Center, located in the Sport Center building, offers 24/7 medical services. Faculty and staff can receive preliminary medical examinations, sick leave reports, and referrals to nearby hospitals if necessary. The center also provides occupational health services, including periodic medical examinations and support for pregnant staff. In case of emergencies, on-campus ambulances are available for transportation. 

3. On-Campus Amenities

The campus offers various amenities to enhance the daily lives of faculty and their families:

• Cafeterias and Vending Machines: Providing a range of food and beverage options.
• Supermarkets: ŞOK supermarket in the Student Center and mini-markets in the dormitories cater to grocery needs.
• OzU Store: Offering textbooks, stationery, and OzU-branded merchandise.
• Post Office Services: A post office and self-service pick-up stations are available for mail and shipping services. 

These services aim to provide convenience and support to the university community.
