Watch Your Step - Footprint Corner

The Footprint Corner, created as part of the “Watch Your Step” project through the contributions of HSE Community and our volunteer students, with the support of the Sustainability & QHSE and Communications Departments, is now welcoming visitors as a permanent exhibition space on our campus to promote environmental awareness.

Rethink the Footprints We Leave in Nature!

Inspired by the metaphor of a footprint in a forest, the installation uses packaging waste placed within the footprint to make the environmental impacts of our daily consumption habits visible.

Created through the collective contributions of our students, this initiative aims to:

    • Draw attention to the interaction between people and nature.
    • Raise awareness of recycling and waste management.
    • Highlight the environmental impacts of individual consumption choices.
    • Encourage us to reconsider our daily habits and the waste we generate.

    Visit the Footprint Corner!

To explore this initiative and support environmental awareness on our campus, visit the Footprint Corner, located on the right-hand side as you walk toward the parking exit on level -2 of the ÖM Building.

Remember: Every consumption choice leaves a footprint in nature. What matters is the kind of footprint we choose to leave behind.
