Dr. Baydur lisans derecesini 2005 yılında Bilkent Üniversitesi İktisat, yüksek lisans derecesini 2008 yılında Koç Üniversitesi Ekonomi bölümünden aldıktan sonra ekonomi alanında doktora derecesini Virginia Üniversitesi’nden 2014 yılında almıştır. Doktorasını tamamladıktan sonra Dr. Baydur, ADA Univeristy (School of Business ) ve Singapore Management University (School of Economics) kurumlarında çeşitli makroiktisat dersleri vermiştir. Dr. Baydur’un araştırmaları makroekonomi ve işgücü ekonomisi üzerine yoğunlaşmıştır.   Araştırmaları işgücü piyasası sürtünmeleri ve konjonktür dalgalanmaları üzerine yoğunlaşmaktadır.
