    HSE Committee

    Özyeğin University established an official Occupational Health and Safety Committee, which was later expanded and restructured as the Health Safety and Environment Committee in recognition of environmental requirements. Furthermore, the management system requirements of the HSE Management Systems ((ISO 14001 Environmental Management System - ISO  45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System - ISO 50001 Energy Management System) have also been incorporated in the agenda of the committee. In addition to administrative representatives legally required to be on the committee, the committee was expanded to include also academic and student representatives. All members of the committee have the opportunity to analyze and contribute to campus processes from the perspective of health, safety and environment.  The HSE Committee periodically meets and presents its formal advisory decisions to senior management. The Committee also serves as the “Sustainability Committee” for the QS Impact ranking, reviewing and approving evidence for the rankings.
