Özyeğin University (ÖzÜ) students have the opportunity to step into professional life through various internship programs starting from their first years of academic life. These programs are designed to support students in reaching their career goals and to facilitate their integration into the business world.

1. Scope of Internship Programs

In this context, in addition to compulsory internships, students are provided with domestic and international voluntary internship opportunities. Thus, all ÖzÜ students, from business administration to engineering, can gain diverse work experiences through internship programs integrated with the corporate world.

Voluntary Internships: Students can take advantage of domestic and international voluntary internship opportunities based on their interests. These internships provide the opportunity to gain experience in different sectors. Internship programs opened each year are announced on the LinkProfessional and MyOzu platforms.

2. Internship Opportunities

Domestic and International Options: Thanks to our multidisciplinary structure, postings are made available to all students regardless of their field. Students have the opportunity to intern in many areas such as business, engineering, and social sciences. Under various agreements, students can intern in international firms or local enterprises to gain experience in a global business environment.

3. Non-Credit Internship Criteria

Determining the Criteria: Students wishing to pursue non-credit internships must meet specific criteria. These criteria are shared with students in detail through information emails sent by the Professional Development Unit.

Information/Notifications: Students are kept informed about internship processes in detail via email.

4. Internship Process

Application Process: Students must complete all required documents and forms when applying for internships. The Professional Development Unit reviews applications and identifies eligible candidates.

Evaluation/Assessment: Intern performance is regularly evaluated by the host company during the internship. These evaluations are conducted to provide feedback and offer development opportunities for students.

5. Communication and Support

Support Services: Students can receive support by contacting the Professional Development Unit throughout their internship processes. Additionally, guidance is provided in internship and job search processes through our career advising services.

Networking: ÖzÜ organizes various events and seminars to help students expand their professional networks. These events allow students to meet industry professionals and establish connections.
