Trainings and Workshops
We offer various personal development trainings and workshops that our students can benefit from from their very first day at the university until graduation. Delivered interactively by expert advisors, these trainings aim to help students acquire and develop the skills required based on their personal interests and changing needs over time.
Trainings and Workshops are repeated throughout the academic semester. LinkProfessional to register for the training you need.
Training Cancellation and Attendance Terms
If you need to cancel a training session you registered for due to any reason, at least 24 hours in advance you must cancel your registration via LinkProfessional. This ensures that you do not prevent other students who wish to attend the training from registering.
Participants who do not cancel their reservation at least 24 hours before the event starts*, or who do not show up for the registered event, "no-show" are considered a "no-show". Registering for an event and failing to attend is unfair to others who wished to participate but could not due to quota limits. In addition, most events organized by the Professional Development Unit are attended by company professionals who generously dedicate their own time to visit our campus. Failing to attend after registering not only portrays the absent students as unprofessional but also damages the prestige of our university community. When students register for an event, there is a strong professional expectation that they will attend.
Due to the professional nature of Professional Development appointments and events, the following policy applies to students who register but do not attend:
In the event of a first no-show to a registered appointment or event, you will be notified via an email informing you that you missed your session.
In the event of a second no-show, your right to request appointments and participate in events will be suspended until the end of the academic year in which the no-show occurred. You will not be allowed to register for any other advising sessions, workshops, or events during that academic year.
* For events held on Mondays, the 24-hour cancellation policy starts on Friday. Therefore, if you cannot attend a Monday event, you must cancel it by Friday.
Participants registering a day before or on the day of the event do not have the right to cancel. If they fail to attend the registered event/appointment, the above rules will apply.
