2018 FIBA Internship Abroad

Deadline: June 13th, 2018

Application Criteria:
➔ Weighted average GPA of ≥ 3.5 for the academic year (Fall 2017 and Spring 2018)
➔ At least 48 credits in the 2017-2018 academic year (Fall 2017 and Spring 2018)
➔ Total Credit requirement is minimum 60 and maximum 179 credits
➔ Not participated in the Non-credit Internship Abroad program before
➔ Should have a valid passport with an expiration date of minimum 1 year from the date of internship
➔ Since these are abroad internships, English Proficiency is required
➔ For the 9 July - 20 July term only those who hold valid Green / EU / USA passports and/or Schengen visas will be eligible

Internship Periods:
1. 9 July – 20 July 2018 (for only those with valid Green/EU/USA passports and/or Schengen visas)
2. 23 July – 3 Aug 2018
3. 6 Aug – 17 Aug 2018
4. 20 Aug – 31 Aug 2018
Please be advised that above dates are internship start and finish dates, departure date will be the day before the internship start day.

Important Note:
1. Please be advised that abroad internship program is not designed as an occupational internship and only undergraduate students will be eligible to apply.
2. Students will not be able to change their preferred period of internship after the application deadline.
3. Having submitted your application does not mean that you are guaranteed an internship position. Placements depend on both availability and the above mentioned criteria.
4. Switzerland, Dubai and Russia have low quotas therefore make sure to fill all five choices.
5. You will be notified of your application status the week of June 18th.
