Xi'an, China 

Özyeğin University is looking for student participants for a prestigious international summer camp taking place this summer in Xi'an, China, hosted by Xi'an Jiaotong University!

About the Program
Youth Bond Silk Road: SDGs in Action is an international summer camp organized by the University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR), a network of more than 210 universities. The program is an 8-day immersive experience bringing together student representatives from China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, and Egypt, centered on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, cross-cultural dialogue, and youth leadership. Özyeğin University is a co-organizer this year and will be sending students to represent Turkey.

What's included?

• Lectures and workshops on sustainability, green energy, and cultural heritage
• Hands-on cultural experiences, including a traditional instrument workshop and pottery making
• Networking with international student delegations at the UASR Youth Envoys Salon
• Closing ceremony and certificate issuance at a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Program Dates: August 23-30, 2026

Quota: Limited to 8 students. 

Participation Costs: Local accommodation, meals, and transportation in Xi'an are fully covered by the host university. Participants are responsible for international round-trip travel, visa application and personal expenses only.
