II. Staff Mobility for Teaching
This activity allows HEI academic staff or staff from enterprises to teach at a partner HEI abroad. Staff mobility for teaching can be in any subject area/academic discipline. In the case of teaching assignments between higher education institutions in Program Countries, both institutions have to be holders of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) and must have signed an inter-institutional agreement. The partner higher education institution/enterprise must have agreed on the program of activities to be undertaken by the visiting teachers (Mobility Agreement) prior to the start of the mobility period. In all cases, the activities of staff undertaking a teaching assignment should preferably be integrated into the curriculum of the receiving institution. In the case of staff mobility from an enterprise to a higher education institution, the mobility is arranged by an invitation from the higher education institution to the staff member of the enterprise. The grant is always managed by the higher education institution.
You may review the announcement for the Erasmus+ Staff Teaching Mobility Application on myOzu.
Requirements & Duration
- Inter-Institutional Agreement: Both institutions (home university and ECHE holder host university) must have a valid signed agreement in order for a teaching mobility.
- Teaching Hours: The mobility must comprise a minimum of 8 hours per week (or any shorter period of stay) of actual teaching time.
- Duration: A teaching period between two Programme countries must last a minimum of 2 days and a maximum of 2 months. This excludes travelling time.
III. Staff Mobility for Training
The Erasmus+ program offers full/part-time academic and non-academic staff the opportunity to undertake a short training visit to a higher education institution or some other eligible enterprise/organization in Europe, with funding available for travel costs and subsistence. This activity supports the professional development of HEI staff in the form of training events abroad (excluding conferences) and job shadowing/observation periods at a partner HEI, or at another relevant organization i.e. an enterprise, workshop, or short-term assignments.
You may review the announcement for Erasmus+ Staff Training Mobility Application on myOzU.
