2016-2017 Exchange Program Applications (Erasmus+ and Global Exchange)

Erasmus+ study and/or placement (internship) and global exchange program applications will be open for interested students between 30 November 2015 - 14 December 2015, 12:00 noon. 

Application deadline for Erasmus+ study and/or placement (internship) & global exchange program is December 14, 2015 / 12:00 noon. 
Please be advised that late-applications will not be accepted.

1. Erasmus+ Applications - Study / Placement (Internship)

You must apply online to Erasmus+ program under SIS > other operations and register for the English Language Exam as the first step. Eligible candidates will make institution selections soon after the results are announced.

Erasmus English language exam will be held on December 17th, Thursday at 6.40 PM. The location of the exam will be announced after the application deadline.

• Students who have previously participated in the Erasmus+ program,
• Students who withdrew after confirming the slotted institution after the given deadline without a valid excuse, will be deducted 10 points at the time of evaluations.

Eligibility Criteria for Erasmus+ Study Mobility

• Min. CGPA: 2.20
• 60/100 pts in Erasmus Language Exam
• Having completed freshman year at OzU by the time exchange semester starts.

Ranking will be based on 50% CGPA + 50% Erasmus English exam.

Students, who score 60/100 and above from the Erasmus English language exam, will be eligible to apply for the Erasmus+ study.
Students, who score between 50-60/100, will be placed in the waiting list for the second placement round.

Students with a CGPA lower than 2.20 can submit their applications, however, they will be placed in the waiting list for the second round.
First year students with less than 60 ECTS will be placed in the waiting list for the second placement round.

Eligibility Criteria for Erasmus+ Placement (Internship) Mobility

• Min. CGPA: 2.20
• 60/100 pts in Erasmus Language Exam

General Terms for Placement Mobility

• Placement duration is minimum 2 months.
• Students cannot be placed in European Union Institutions, establishments which pursue EU programs and embassies in the host country.
• Students may apply for Erasmus placement for each summer period during their undergraduate studies and with the condition of applying on time in their final year of university, they can benefit from the placement opportunity within 12 months upon graduation.
• Students will create contacts with enterprises / organizations in order to find their own internship places and apply to the International Office and program coordinators with an acceptance letter (Letter of Intent) sent by the host organization/enterprise in the participating European countries.

2. Global Exchange Applications

You must submit the online application for the Global Exchange programs under SIS > other operations. 
Please review the partner institutions list in the powerpoint presentation first and select up to four institutions and submit the online application accordingly.

Based on the information provided on the online application, only a limited number of applicants will be invited for the second phase of the application, face-to-face interview with the Faculty Program Coordinators and International Office Members.

Revision of the interview dates are highly unlikely and subject to the approval of the Faculty Program Coordinators. Due to high number of applicants, the tight schedule of the process and the upcoming deadlines of the partner institutions, alternative means of interviews such as Skype/telephone/delayed dates may not be applicable. If you have formal plans to be out of town/country after the application deadline, you must report the dates to the International Office by the time of your application.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Exchange applicants must fulfill the language requirements of the host institutions (TOEFL/IELTS). 
• Min. CGPA: 3.00
• Having completed freshman year at OzU
